Provision of high-quality radiation therapy requires both state-of-the-art equipment and expert personnel. Just as anybody who has a scalpel is not a world-class surgeon, the availability of modern equipment is necessary, but not sufficient, to ensure high-quality care. Each of the steps (outlined below) must be assured by dedicated, experienced personnel.
